INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 Kg Beef Mince Meat
- 3 Medium Onions
- 1 Cup Cooking Oil
- 1 Cup Yogurt
- 3 Cups Water
- 2 TBSP Salt
- 3 TBSP Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1 TSP Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder)
- 1 TSP Cumin Powder (Zeera Powder)
- 1/2 TBSP Red Chili Powder
- 1 TSP Coriander Powder (Dhania Powder)
- 4 Chopped Green Chilis
- 1/2 TBSP Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 TSP Garam Masala Powder
DIRECTIONS
- Fry 3 chopped sliced onions in 6 TBSP cooking oil till light brown.
- Blend the fried onion with 6 TBSP water to paste and keep aside.
- In food processor or chopper fine chop 1/2 kg beef mince mixed with 1/2 TSP turmeric powder, 1/2 TSP cumin powder, 1/2 TSP coriander powder, 4 chopped green chili, 1 TSP salt, 1/2 TSP garam masala powder, 2 TBSP fried onion paste, 3 TBSP chopped fresh coriander and 3 TBSP yogurt.
- Wet hands and take a portion of the meat and roll between palms and form a smooth meatball. You should get 13-14 meatballs with the quantities of ingredients given above.
- Heat 6 TBSP cooking oil on medium flame and add 1/2 TBSP ginger garlic paste and the remaining onion paste, Mix well.
- Add 1/2 TSP cumin powder, 1/2 TSP turmeric powder, 1/2 TBSP red chili powder, 1/2 TSP salt, 1/2 TSP coriander powder and 3/4 cup yogurt.
- Mix well and add 2 cups water.
- Cover and cook 15 mins.
- Now add the meatballs and cover again and cook 30 mins.
- Add fresh coriander leaves , and sliced green chili and 1/2 TSP garam masala powder.
- Cover again and cook 10 mins.
- Ready to serve.
