What’s great about oatmeal is that you can get creative with this recipe with an endless flavor options. Everyone has their own version of a perfect oatmeal bowl with choice of toppings. In this recipe I am going to make an oatmeal recipe that is really quick and easy to make with fruit toppings combined with honey and dry nuts.
During the winter this staple oatmeal recipe is my go-to breakfast during weekdays and in the summer overnight oats.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 Cup Oats
- 500 ml Low Fat Milk
- 1/2 TBSP Vanilla Essence
- 3 Sliced Dates
- 2 TBSP Blueberries
- 2 TBSP Crushed Almonds
- 2 TBSP Crushed Walnuts
- 3 Sliced Strawberries
- 1 TBSP Honey
- Chia and Flax seeds (Optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Mix 1/2 cups oats in 500 ml low fat milk with 1/2 TBSP vanilla essence.
- Keep stirring until it boils.
- Add sliced dates, sliced strawberries, blueberries, crushed almonds, walnuts and 1 TBSP honey.
- Sprinkle Chia and Flax seeds (Optional)
- Serve warm.
